hello! i'm kathy. known to no one else but myself as king yam. welcome to my slice of internet.

i write plays and make crafts in providence, rhode island. i was born in hong kong.
i'd say my stuff attempts to create stretchy//spikey playing spaces for human-adjacent beings. i like the idea of theater as a construction site for new, alien languages.

i am a currently pursuing a mfa in playwriting at brown university. i am also an alum of clubbed thumb's early-career writers' group, a new georges affiliated artist, and a friend of the hearth (theater)
